IX VETECO-ASEFAVE Awards

END-OF-DEGREE PROJECT AWARDS FOR THE BEST LIGHT FAÇADE
The work’s architectural design, harmony with regard to the surrounding environment, the respect for the environment and contribution to the energy efficiency and overall sustainability of the planned building will be taken into account.

The ninth edition of the VETECO / ASEFAVE Awards will be presented within a context of ongoing change within the structural glass sector in Spain.

In this respect, the serious crisis within the building industry must have at least some favourable consequences for Spanish manufacturers and professionals entrusted with designing new building works.

These Awards seek to reflect this moment of change, once again highlighting the windows and light façades that present exceptional levels of quality and design and that promote the increasingly important concepts of energy efficiency, sustainability and respect for the environment.

A s a new feature at this edition, the former Award for Innovation will be encompassed by a more general concept, one that the entire industry is moving towards, that of renovation. In many cases, it is renovation projects that require the highest levels of innovation and technology, both within manufacturing processes and with regard to the installation of the products themselves. This is the reasoning behind this Award category.

In short, the VETECO / ASEFAVE Awards will continue to pursue their goal of encouraging future opinion-leaders to discover new structural glass products, whilst the Awards will also once again present a category for the Best End-of-Degree Projects.

Jury Decision.
